Jack Horner

Jack Horner blew in from Hurricane, WV in 1988 and demonstrated a fierce commitment to the band's tradition of high musical standards and competetive achievement. He maintained and expanded upon those standards during his decade-long directorship until 1998. GWHS remained one of the most feared and respected bands in competition on football fields and stages in the area during his important tenure. He also saw to it that shaving cream remained an important part of the band camp liturgy.
